I had a terrible experience with attorney Madeleine Garza. I hired her for a Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) unemployment appeal after waiting 3 months on my own. I paid a total of $1000 ($250 for a consultation and 750 to retain her). On our intake call,we signed the documents, and she explicitly promised to send over her direct contact information so We could stay in touch. Instead,it took her office three full weeks of radio silence just to send me her contact details. Shortly after her office claimed they mailed my Notice of Representation to the TWC on May 8th.when my state portal showed zero updates weeks later,I emailed her asking for a basic USPS tracking number to prove it was sent. Instead of providing the receipt,Madeline Garza immediately withdrew from my case and offered to only refund the $750 retainer, keeping the $250 Consultation fee.Dropping an unemployed Client simply because I asked for promised Communication and basic proof of work is Completely unethical. She wasted three weeks of my time and abandoned me the Second she was held accountable.Avoid this firm.

I was very pleased with honest feedback I received from the attorney. She was prompt, professional and well versed in unemployment laws. I would highly recommend this firm for any employment issues.

Very bad experience with zero results. I was dumped unto an inexperienced attorney her name is Areyana Johnson (Gilbert). She barely spoke with me regarding my case and would often missed scheduled meetings with me. After months of inactivity and incompetence she stated there was nothing more she could do. But they charged me $5000.00. She did absolutely nothing.

Wiley Wheeler stands out as the most professional law firm I’ve encountered during my search. Their meticulous organization, thoroughness, and extensive knowledge are truly commendable. What sets them apart is their commitment to partnering with clients, rather than simply handling cases on their own. They maintain transparency and openness throughout the process, ensuring that clients are fully informed and involved. I had the privilege of consulting with both Attorney Kalandra and Attorney Areyana, and both of them demonstrated exceptional expertise in their respective fields. Initially, I made a mistake by choosing another law firm, resulting in the loss of a $5,000 retainer fee. However, three months later, I decided to return to Wiley Wheeler, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences ever since.

All the individuals in this firm are very knowledgeable of their field and craft. They know how to leverage to get the results that are deserved for the case! They were extremely courteous to me and were very willing to work with me and expained everything that was happening as it was happening in detail. I do greatly appreciate their help with the issue I was having, and would recommend them to anybody. Just to add a quick note, I went to contact more than 10 lawfirms with my case and none of them would so much as glance at the details of what I was going through. Madeline Garza from Wiley Wheeler, P.C. and all their team made it happen, and I couldn't say thank you enough.
