“Long review but it's worth the read. I reached out to this firm on May 12th of 2026 and spoke with John Moscarino inquiring about a malpractice suit from another attorney I previously worked for a personal injury case I filed for an auto accident back in 2023. For the sake of not misunderstanding this review, the previous attorney I wanted to file a case against was NOT AFFILIATED WITH ROBENALT. I discovered that attorney never actually filed a case for me after speaking with the higher ups at his company and that attorney lied to me many times telling me my case was almost settled . I spent roughly 15 minutes on the phone with John, during our conversation I explained my situation and answered several questions he asked. At the end of our conversation, he told me "it definitely sounds like you have a malpractice case" and scheduled an appointment for me to come in on May 14th to meet with him. The day of our appointment, he contacted me and told me he forgot he had tickets to an event that evening with his family and rescheduled for May 20th. Totally understandable, family comes first and I would have done the same. Shortly before our 2nd appointment, he called me and told me he is out of town and couldn't find another attorney at the firm to speak with me and rescheduled again for May 26th which is today. I just got a call a few minutes ago from him, he told me after speaking with several other attorneys at the firm he doesn't believe they can work with me because I didn't meet a minimum dollar amount of $250,000 in injuries from my original case in 2023 with the attorney I wanted to file a malpractice case against. For transparency, I will admit that my injuries from my accident back in 2023 were not substantial, I went to the ER two or three times and suffered neck, chest, and back pain for months after my accident which is why I filed my original case with the previous firm I was working with. My medical bills at most were maybe a few grand. But this was not my reason for contacting Robenalt, I contacted them because I wanted to file a case against the attorney I worked with at the other firm for lying to me about filing a case, the higher ups at his company even told me I have a solid case for malpractice and they would provide me any information I needed and completely cooperate with whatever firm I worked with to make things right. I have patiently waited for two weeks now to meet Robenalt. During that two weeks I was contacted by a few other attorneys I contacted on May 12th which again was the date I contacted Robenalt. I declined to work with the others that contacted me and told them I was already working another firm. I can understand if a firm has minimum requirements and wouldn't want to work with a client based on those requirements so that is not by reason for leaving this review. My reason is because I patiently waited for two weeks to meet with John based on our initial conversation when he told me it sounds like I have a case, then after waiting for so long he back pedaled last minute. I find this to be very unprofessional and I'm disappointed that I now have to start all over again when I could have been working with someone else over the last two weeks.”
